Cell modules based on the metabolism in Japan

They are prioritizing flexible housing that is built like skyscrapers that can be added to in the future due to the growing population. The building now reaches 177m high due to each module being 5.5m tall. The architects have created a green ground floor as a memorial of what was there before that works cohesively with the circular modules as the rainwater drains off on the greenery.
I researched this case study when looking for inspiration for the artist's residence because of the flexible design adapting the future and incorporation of sustainability. As sustainability is the preparation for the future without using up all the resources of today. This is aligned with Gaudi’s beliefs and will be applied to be artist's residence cell apartment design.
